Workshop Pricing and Terms

Open-enrollment Workshop Discounts and Terms

• 5% discount for all students from the same company when 3 or more students from that company attend.
• 25% discount for up to 4 students when a company hosts the location of an open-enrollment workshop.
• Payment must be received at least two weeks before the first day of class (or at the time of enrollment, if enrolling within 2 weeks of the class start date). Payment may be made by company check, money order, MasterCard, VISA, Discover or American Express.
• Cancellations prior to 2 weeks before the workshop will receive a full refund of the tuition. Cancellations within 2 weeks of the workshop will receive a 50% refund of the tuition. Cancellations after the workshop has started, or no-show students, are not eligible for a refund.
• Sutherland HDL, Inc. reserves the right to reschedule or cancel an open-enrollment workshop 2 weeks prior to the class date, if there is not sufficient enrollment. In the event that Sutherland HDL cancels a workshop, or you cannot attend a rescheduled workshop, 100% of tuition will be refunded.

On-site Workshop Discounts and Terms

• 10% discount for all students when 10 or more students attend.
• 15% discount for all students when 15 or more students attend.
• Only a conference room is needed! Sutherland HDL provides a portable lab server with licensed software and an isolated network. Students connect to the training server from their own laptop computers. (Upon request, Sutherland HDL can also provide laptop computers for student use for a nominal charge of $50 per student).
• Instructor travel within the continental US is a flat fee of $500 per class day. Travel to other areas is quoted on a per-class basis.
• The minimum class size is 5 students. Maximum class size is 18 students unless special arrangements are made.
• A purchase order must be received at least 3 weeks prior to the first day of the workshop. Sutherland HDL cannot guarantee the requested training date or make travel arrangements until the purchase order is received. Purchase orders received within three weeks of the workshop may be assessed up to a 10% surcharge to cover higher travel costs.
• An invoice with terms of net 30 will be delivered after the first day of class, based on the actual number of students attending the workshop.
• Cancellations prior to 3 weeks before the workshop will not be charged. Cancellations within 3 weeks of the workshop will be charged for the minimum class size.
• Training workshops begin on a Tuesday or later in the week, to allow Monday for travel. Should a workshop need to start on a Monday, a $500 travel surcharge may be added due to weekend travel.
